About First Draft
We investigate Web3 product gaps, then build through them.
First Draft is a research and prototyping series published by dOrg. Each edition starts with a live market signal, checks the evidence, maps the practical opportunity and turns one part of the thesis into working code.
How an edition is made
- 1. Find the signal. We look for a concrete change, recurring builder problem or measurable market imbalance.
- 2. Verify the claim. We prefer primary documentation and date every market snapshot so a moving number is not presented as permanent.
- 3. State the limits. A thin category is a hypothesis, not proof of demand. Prototypes disclose what they do not test.
- 4. Build through it. dOrg engineers implement one focused experiment to expose the decisions and failure modes hidden by a market-level summary.
Sources and corrections
Sources are linked beside the claims they support. When an edition uses a fixed research snapshot, newer figures are not silently mixed into it. Material corrections keep the same permanent URL and are recorded in the edition's public change log when available.

First Draft editions are researched, written and built by Fernando Torres. dOrg remains the publisher and engineering collective behind the series.
Publisher
First Draft is published by dOrg, a distributed Web3 engineering collective. Research and working prototypes are credited to the people or organization that actually produced them; we do not invent provenance.
